Situation: EMEA managers required to collaborate in culturally complex and competitive spaces

  • The client is a global leader in marketing communications
  • Our client’s managers are expected to balance competitive endeavour with creative collaboration within and across internal teams and with a wide and complex range of external stakeholders

 

Solution

  • We designed and facilitated a 3-day programme for 19 managers to explore the meaning and implications of collaboration, and to develop their collaborative practice under observation and through subsequent coaching
  • The focus was on the observation, coaching and development of personalised behaviours arising from the pre-programme 360°

 

Structure

  • 360° assessment
  • 0.5 day face-to-face training
  • 2.5 day experiential course including 90 minute 1:1 coaching sessions at the end of each experiential encounter
  • Professional development plan
  • 12 month follow-up 360°

Outcomes

8.1/10 average score for 2014 participants agreeing their coach was effective in helping them identify skills needed to develop for improved professional practice.
